The Free program will be held at 7 p.m. in the children’s programming room at the Lake Forest Library.
Curator Laurie Stein will give guests a glimpse of what the city was like back in the day. She will focus on when Market Square was completed and the Marion Lambert trial dominated both local and national headlines.
This event is part of Lake Forest Reads: Ragdale, a one book/one community program sponsored by Lake Forest Library and The Ragdale Foundation. The book is The Hundred-Year House by Rebecca Makkai. For more information, contact Lake Forest Library at 847-810-4613.
