Lake County Clerk Carla Wyckoff announced that ballots for the March 15 primary are now available for those choosing to vote early at the Clerk’s office or by mail.
The printing of the ballots were delayed due to the review of objections by the State Board of Elections filed against several presidential candidates.
In-person early voting is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Feb. 26 at the Lake County Clerk’s office, 18 N. County St. Waukegan.
Registered voters wishing to vote by mail can complete a personalized online application at LakeVoterPower.info after logging in and confirming voter registration status. The last day to request a ballot by mail is March 10.
Early voting begins on Feb. 29 at 14 locations throughout the county. Voting sites in some areas have extended evening and weekend hours. Visit LakeCountyClerk.info and click on “Voting by mail, early, or on Election Day” to find a convenient location near home, work, or along the way.
