Travelers: Take a break from the road Friday and see what Kenosha has to offer.

The next free First Fridays event hosted at the Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau’s I-94 Visitor Information Center will offer a kick off to your holiday weekend at this fun and informative monthly open house – between the hours of noon and 3 p.m. July 1.

Local attractions and businesses offer food samples, displays, giveaways, and more. Travelers and local residents can collect ideas for things to see and do in the Kenosha Area and throughout Wisconsin this summer.

Featured exhibitors expected are:

  • Kenosha County Fair and Wilmot Raceway
  • Wilmot Mountain
  • Brat Stop
  • Culver’s Pleasant Prairie
  • Kenosha History Center
  • Kenosha Public Museum, Civil War Museum, and Dinosaur Discovery Museum
  • Richard Bong State Recreation Area
  • Kenosha Community Sailing Center at the Kenosha Yacht Club
  • Hampton Inn & Suites and Candlewood Suites
  • Value Inn

After this July 1 event, the following will take place on August 5.

The I-94 Visitor Information Center is at the southeast corner of I-94 and Hwy. 165, at 10519 – 120th Ave. (Exit 347).
