Looking for people to voice concerns, ideas Thursday in Grayslake

Do you have something to say about the future needs and priorities for Lake County?

Your thoughts about transportation, housing, economic development, open space, the environment, or other quality-of-life issues for our area are welcome.

On Thursday June 23 at 7 p.m. a workshop called “On to 2050” will be held in Grayslake at the Byron Colby Barn, and the sponsors would like to hear your ideas.

The informative and interactive workshop, sponsored by Liberty Prairie Foundation, the League of Women Voters of Lake County, and Livable Lake County is an opportunity for Lake County residents to be heard and provide input. The program will be presented by the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP).

CMAP is the official comprehensive planning organization for the seven counties of the greater Chicago region. It has led almost 100 of these workshops throughout the Chicago region over the past several months. This is an opportunity for Lake County residents to be heard and provide input. The historic Byron Colby Barn is at 1561 Jones Point Rd. in Grayslake at the Prairie Crossing community. Doors open at 6:45 pm.
