October ArtWauk Overtaken by Zombies

The 6th annual ZombieWauk Saturday, offered frightful fun throughout downtown Waukegan in celebration of the Zombie Horror Arts genre during the October ArtWauk .

While the “walking dead” staggered about, galleries displayed chilling pieces of original artwork.

There was live music including the thunderous sounds of METAL on the ROCKS VI at Clayton and Genesee streets.

Local businesses were highlighted during the Zombie Infestation Block Party at Water and Genesee streets, presented by South Genesee Merchants Block.

Live acts performed at another section of downtown, on the Quarantine Zone Stage, at the corner of Madison and Genesee streets.

Visitors enjoyed free tours of the DADDY WAR BUS survival vehicle were given. The bus was parked at Urban Edge Gallery at Clayton and Genesee streets. – Tina Johansson
