Monster Bash & Creepy Science at Free Weekend Fun in Lake Forest

Halloween Tricks & Treats: Friday, Oct. 28 from 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at Lake Forest Recreation Center, 400 Hastings Road.

Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Department invites children ages preschool to 3rd grade, and their parents, for a fun evening of Free Halloween activities.

New this year – Monster Bash featuring musical guest Jeanie B! & The Jelly Beans.  Plus a Haunted Hayride, Wildlife Discovery Center’s Haunted Zoo, Creepy Science Lab, Spooky Games, and more.

Lake Forest Parks and Recreation will provide plenty of fun for Lake Forest preschoolers through 3rd graders and parents including refreshments and treats for all. Sponsored by Forest Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry.

Art Bash Open House: Saturday, Oct. 29, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Stirling Hall Art Center, 60 E. Old Mill Road in Lake Forest.
Family fun for all ages. Come out to scenic Stirling Hall Art Center and discover everything it has to offer.  A day full of demonstrations, hands-on “try-it” workshops and meet and greets including:

·         Parent and Child Together: Potter’s Wheel Experience

·         Try Spinning the Wheel

·         Hand-building in Clay

·         Youth Arts and Crafts Drop-In: Halloween Fun

·         Watercolor with Beth Shadur

·         Meet and Greet New Instructors
