Driver of Corvette crashes in Grayslake Area, Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries

The driver of a Chevrolet Corvette was ejected from the vehicle when it crashed on Route 120 east of Almond Road in unincorporated Grayslake Nov. 9.

According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, the driver lost control of the sports car in the morning crash.

The identity of the driver is being withheld pending an investigation. He was taken to Condell Medical Center in Libertyville with critical injuries which deputies said were life-threatening.

The driver was heading west in the 2000 Corvette on Rte. 120 and it crossed onto the center median before rolling over. Damage to the car was extensive.
