The Anderson Arts Center is seeking to honor a Kenosha County resident who has contributed a lifetime of achievement to the arts through a body of work, teaching, mentoring, leadership or philanthropic activities, or promotion and or awareness of the fine arts in the community. The honor is for the Anderson Arts Center Lifetime Achievement Award.
The arts are defined, for this award process, in a broad sense that includes, but is not limited to, such areas as painting, sculpture, drama, literature, dance and music.
To nominate someone for the award, a brief description of the candidate’s activities including but not limited to the following areas is needed:
- Has the candidate created art for public presentation? In what form?
- How have the arts community and the residents of Kenosha County been affected by the candidate’s activities?
- What honors or recognition have been bestowed upon the candidate?
- Is the candidate an innovator in their field of endeavor?
