Pleasant Prairie Police arrested an Ohio man who is working in Pleasant Prairie Feb. 8, after he failed to provide sex offender information as required by state law.
The man, Emmett L. Todd, 33, was convicted in 2008 of a sex offense against a minor in Ohio and had recently moved to the Kenosha area.
Police said they received an anonymous tip that Todd did not comply with the state law.
Wisconsin state law requires that convicted sex offenders notify and register their address and employment information with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
Police said they received an anonymous tip that Todd did not comply with the state law. He was arrested for and charged with a felony count of failing to provide sex offender information. He is currently being held at the Kenosha County Jail.
