Start your venture in Kenosha by stopping at the Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau’s free, fun, informative, and tasty Open House at the I-94 Visitor Information Center Friday March 3. The FIRST FRIDAYS events are held between noon and 3 p.m. the first Friday of each month. Meet the people behind some of the local attractions and businesses in Kenosha County.
Then on Friday and Saturday evenings, March 3 & 4 at 7:30 p.m., head over to the historic Rhode Center for the Arts and take in the play “LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE”. The play is presented by the Lakeside Players Stage Noir Series, and is of monologues and ensemble pieces about women, clothes, and memory, by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron, based on the bestselling book by Ilene Beckerman. Also on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. visit the indoor Winter HarborMarket at Rhode Center for the Arts. Each Saturday through May 6, you will find between 25 and 35 vendors who have set up shop, offering such delights as flowers to food and handicrafts. Rhode Center for the Arts is located at 514 56th Street in Kenosha. The outdoor HarborMarket near Lake Michigan returns on May 13.
