Grand Opening Saturday 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Sugar Boxx at 5700 6th Avenue, which bills itself as “the most family friendly novelty ice cream shop in the Kenosha County area,” will grand open between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday, April 15.
“Growing up here in Kenosha as well as raising small children here, we realized that there wasn’t much excitement here for the younger generation,” said owner Charrie Ferguson.
“We decided to do whatever it takes to provide that for not only our children, but the children in our community and what better memory is there than the ice cream,” she added.
Sugar Boxx, she pointed it out, “took it one step further and made the ice cream truck treats available all year around.”
The store with a children’s area features more than 199 different frozen treats and free Wi-Fi. Sugar Boxx is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sugar Boxx also caters to birthday parties, school and corporate events and family reunions.
