An Oak Lawn woman, suspect in three robberies in Lake County, was arrested Thursday in her home by officers from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Jasmine R. Stevenson, 25, was found hiding under a bed, investigators said. She was taken to Lake County Jail.
A warrant with a $202,000 bond was issued by a Lake County judge on April 13 for her arrest for probation violation and failure to appear in court in connection with three robberies she allegedly committed in the county in October and November in 2014.
According to the sheriff’s office, two of the robberies occurred in the 37600 block of North Route 59 in unincorporated Lake Villa. The third took place in the 36700 block of North Route 83 in unincorporated Round Lake.
